Operating Principles
DHF series brakes are compact spring applied brakes. When energy applies to the brake coil (1), a magnetic
field creates. This magnetic field overcomes the force of the pressure springs (2) and ensures the pressure
flange (3) to compresses the springs and pull them towards the coil, and the cast iron propeller (4), which
is keyed to the rotor shaft, rotates freely. When the energy is cut off, the magnetic field disappears, the
compressed springs releases and they ensures push the pad (5), which is connected to the pressure flang,
towards the cast iron propeler and braking.
